Delete Your Account
If you'd like to delete your CostSplit account, you can do so directly from within the app. Follow the steps below for your platform.
How to Delete Your Account
From the mobile app (iOS or Android):
- Open the CostSplit app and log in to your account
- Go to the Account tab
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- If your account has a password, you will be asked to enter it for verification
- Confirm the deletion when prompted
From the web app:
- Log in at app.costsplit.app
- Go to your Account page
- Click Delete Account at the bottom of the page
- If your account has a password, enter it for verification
- Confirm the deletion
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
- Your account will be deactivated and you will be logged out immediately
- You will no longer be able to log in with your credentials
- Your profile information will no longer be accessible
Can I Reactivate My Account?
If you change your mind, you can reactivate your account by signing up again with the same email address. Your previous account data may be restored.
